Red treesNot unlike the rest of the people in the "working club" I drive roughly the same route home from the office everyday. Well for about a week last fall I drove by the most beautiful tree I had ever laid my eyes upon. One day when the weather was particularly wonderful I decided it is time, I need to go take pictures of that amazing tree. Strapped with my camera and walking shoes I trotted the few blocks down the trail and through the neighborhood till I reached the glorious spectacle. Now I have edited these photos a bit, but trust me, those leaves were red, orange and impressive all over. Apparently, I was only one of many to snap a few photos, a nice elderly woman informed me of this as she worked in her front yard across the street from the miracle of nature. Even though these pictures are from last fall and I have anxiously been awaiting the arrival of spring, it was nice to see some evidence that there was, at one point, leaves on the poor trees. |

My friends Monica and Micah are getting married! They are wonderful in all ways, and I am very excited for their big day! Monica, the talented photographer, of course had this beautiful photo of the two of them which I think works perfectly for a save the date. I had fun designing this and the M&M monogram that I believe she is planning to use throughout the wedding decorations, invites, etc. I have been able to design a few save the dates and other wedding goods lately and I really enjoy it! If you or anyone you know is wanting a little help with any designing, contact me!

Don't be too jealous folksThe rumors are true, I have purchased tickets to attend the full weekend of the Boston Calling Music Festival. At 11:24 am it was brought to my attention that a number of my favorite bands are going to be performing in Boston only a few days before my birthday. The excitement of this news snapped me out of the slumber that was resting heavily on my eyelids and into top gear. After confirming with Kaylie that we couldn't miss this opportunity and a quick phone call to make sure Todd was going to be in Boston those days, the tickets were purchased by 1:06 pm. So that means this process took exactly an hour and a half. What a whirlwind!
In the words of Amber,
"They are better than anything I've ever seen before. Seriously all other invites are skid marks in a toilet compared to this." |
