¡Hola! Here is a new, fun project I have been working on for a high school Spanish language class. You'll have to ask them what "¡Cállate! Cruzamos la frontera" means though. The four examples on the black shirts below were from the students to give me some ideas. I worked from the samples, and added a few flares of my own. I did some research into sombreros and Day of the Dead artwork. I am very drawn to the patterns used on skulls that are often associated with this day and the detail makes for great artwork on shirts! After I had found my inspiration I got to work with my light table and a pencil. Above is a scan of the original drawing I used in the final design. Here is the completed art! I was very pleased with the final product and hope the students enjoy their new shirts. |
